Daryl Thompson, Managing Director

Daryl grew up on a dairy farm, so he's no stranger to hard work. He started the contracting business in 1995 and over time has built up a friendly, knowledeable and hardworking team.

Outside of work, he coaches rugby and likes to take the boat down to Te Anau to do a bit of water skiing and sea biscuiting. He and Colleen have been married for 28 years and have two children, Cory and Kelly.

Brent Preddy, Operations manager, Effluent and cultivation overseer

Killian OReilly, Silage and Baleage co-ordinator

Killian has taken over the role as silage and baleage co-ordinator having been recently in charge of baleage. Killian has been involved in farming and contracting in NZ for a long time and understands what is required to achieve a top result.

Killian grew up on a farm in Cavan, Ireland and came to New Zealand in 2010. He loves getting up in the morning and going to work in a different place each day

He and his partner have 2 children. When Killian has some spare time he likes to get away to Queenstown, do a bit of fishing and spend time with his family at the beach.

Cory Thompson. Northern Southland manager

Cory is now based in CastleRock and is looking after the Northern Southland area. He has purchased the old CastleRock Contracting yard and is looking forward to meeting everyone in the area.

Aiden O'Connor. Silage organiser

Aiden has joined the management team as our silage coordinator. He will work along side Killian and be out in the field ensuring things are running as smoothly as possible.

Colleen Thompson, Office Manager

Colleen handles the accounts, GST and wages. She enjoys walking, tramping and going to the gym. She's been married to Daryl for 28 years and they have two adult children, Cory who is working in the business and Kelly who is a lawyer in Dunedin.

Carol Bolger-Preddy, Administrative Assistant

Carol assists with client invoicing and helping out with general administrative duties.

When she's not working, Carol like to keep fit by going to the gym and riding motorbikes. She's been married to Brent for 30 years. Carol and Brent have a son named Ike who is working for the company.
